When I change my perception, I change my results
Today was my third attempt to get a copy of my driver's license since losing it last week. It is insane all the documents that must be presented even when you are already in the system. God help you if you're a woman whose been married and divorced and have to track your name changes. So, today I wore a fun outfit to make me feel good, walked in with a big smile, threw up my arms and said let's do this. Quite a shift from the first attempt when I left frustrated and crying. Amazing what we can achieve when we shift our perception. I am grateful that I have a passport and that a wonderful soul told me it would make the process easier.

When I give I also receive
Today I was meeting with a friend who invited another friend to our newly formed mastermind group. I had a list of things I wanted to accomplish, but clearly someone was in pain and needed to be lifted and needed us. It was so energizing to be able to give in a way that was needed and received by another. She had gifts to share as well and by the end of the day, we all learned something new, had action items we were excited about, and learned some new things to enhance our business. Oh the magic that happens when powerful, intentional women come together!

My life is blessed with the perfect partner for me
It looks like my husband and I will not be celebrating our birthdays together this year, which is a real drag. But I have learned to enjoy every moment we do have together, so we catch up on any missed holidays when we finally do reconnect. I kinda liked having my Christmas tree up for 5 months, it was always interesting to see client's reactions when they came to my home. Today, when Michael and I skyped, he said my birthday present was coming in the mail and I was not to open it until my birthday. I said, "you already got me presents" for my birthday 2 months ago. "Oh", he said, "you're just a lucky girl." Yes I am. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful man as my life partner.

Every day gives me more opportunities
More opportunities to serve and to help me to do a better job and be the best I can be. From time to time, situations may push me back. However, I always have the to power to choose how I perceive and react in every moment in my life. If you're like me, there is a lot of room for improvement. So I am thankful that each day is full of opportunities, to serve, improve and to get it right!
There is enough time to accomplish what I want
As a child I could not understand what grown ups meant when they said, "the older you get, the faster time goes." Now I get it, because as I am approaching my 49th birthday, I have no idea where my 40's went! And when I look at projects that may be 6 months out or even a year. I have no doubt, that the time will pass quickly and be here before I know it. It seems each day is measured by tasks and accomplishment of those tasks. Today, I am grateful in knowing that there is always enough time to do what needs to be done. And I am at peace.

There are teachers and resources all around me
We could all use a lesson from time to time. But I am always amazed at how the teachers show up for me. When feeling hurt, I know if I take responsibility and accept that I attracted the situation, I may be able to find the lesson. And always, no matter how painful, I can experience joy when I act with grace. My favorite lessons, are when the teacher is totally unexpected. Just when I need to be lifted, pushed, or even shoved to move forward, little earth angels appear to help guide me. I am so grateful to Roxanne, a new little angel that has come into my life. It just goes to show you, even when someone is 15 years our junior, we can learn and heal when we are open to the experience.

I see the beauty in nature
This is what was looking at me this morning when I opened my front door; literally at the foot of my steps. Instead of dismissing, I grabbed my camera and took some time to watch this guy and three of his buddies. I felt like it was such a privilege to observe them. They were so excited when I shook the bird feeder above their heads; they were getting down on that bird seed!
